Exporting GB Song to iTunes; import to iMovie

We'll pick up where we left off last week; your Garage Band song should be DONE--I'll check it first--and then I'll walk you thru a demo on moving the song to iTunes.

The next step will be to import the song from iTunes to iMovie, and finish your ADR. I'll be grading the project in class today.

Wrapping up Sound

By the end of this week, you should have:

1. Your original Dialogue Test (separate project in iMovie)

2. Your "Foley" footage (separate project in iMovie)

3. Your ADR project, including: Dialogue, Sound effects, and Soundtrack

We'll be learning how to use the "Garage Band" software to create soundtracks, and how to import those into your iMovie project.

I'll be grading your "Foley" footage today as you work.

Don't forget---iMovie has lots of hidden sound effects!

Our Santa Fe trip is fast approaching! Please plan for the following:

We'll meet in the cafeteria outside of my classroom (E111) at 7:45 on Wednesday; I'll have a reminder announcement made.

Weather should be warm-ish, in a Santa Fe kind of way. Layer up!

Wear comfy shoes; you'll be on your feet ALL DAY.

We'll get FilmNM shirts when we arrive; it would be great if you could wear it all day.

Bring your camera! There's lots to see and do and photograph.

You'll carry everything you bring with you on the trip; pack light!

Don't forget==you MUST arrange a ride home at 4:30 on Wednesday! Please let me know who is picking you up.
