A few things to remember:
1. Safety comes FIRST!! Always be aware of what you're doing, and who/what is around you, when working with lighting and electricity. NO horsing around, or you will be immediately removed from the lab, given book work, and will be forced to call your parents explaining your behavior.
2. Don't blow us up! We'll need to spread out when it comes time to plug in lights and 'strike' them, so that we don't overload any circuits. Today, you'll learn the algebraic equation used to calculate loads on a circuit. YES, film people use math. All the time.
3. Teamwork is crucial. Take turns at each station to get the full lighting experience. Become familiar with each type of light, because you'll be using them A LOT.
